Bajra eases on higher supply

New Delhi, May 17. In restricted activity, bajra prices fell by Rs 20 per quintal on the wholesale grains market today due to adequate stocks on higher supplies. However, other grains held steady in scattered deals. In the national capital, bajra fell by Rs 20 to Rs 1,400-1,405 per quintal. The following were today's quotations per quintal: Wheat MP (deshi) 2,000-2,200, Wheat dara (for mills) 1,460-1,465, Chakki atta (delivery) 1,465-1,470, Atta Rajdhani (10 kg) 210, Shakti bhog (10 kg) 210, Roller flour mill 790-810 (50 kg), Maida 820-850 (50 kg) and Sooji 950-990 (50kg). Basmati rice (Lal Quila) 10,000, Shri Lal Mahal 10,000, Super Basmati Rice, 9,500, Basmati common new 7,800-7,900, Rice Pusa-(1121) new 7,700-8,300, Permal raw 2,300-2,550, Permal wand 2,500-2,600, Sela 3,500-3,600 and Rice IR-8- 1,900-1,950, Bajra 1,400-1,405, Jowar yellow 1,525-1,575, white 2,225-2,425, Maize 1,390-1,395, Barley 1,260-1,265, Rajasthan 1,080-1,090.
