According to the official sources, pulses import stood 3.03 million tonnes in during the period of April-November 2014 which was 2.42 million tonnes during the corresponding period last year. IPGMA forecasted pulse imports to stand around 3.7-3.8 million tonnes in the ongoing financial year and around 4 million tonnes in the next year.
